गुरु गोविंद सिंह (1675-1708ई०) 

गुरु गोविंद सिंह सिंह जी का जन्म बिहार के पटना में हुआ था। आप सिक्खों के दसवें और अंतिम गुरु थे। आपके बाद गुरु ग्रंथ साहब को गुरु मान लिया गया। इन्होंने अपने विचारों को व्यवहार में परिणत करने के लिए 1699 ई० में "दल खालसा "की स्थापना की। गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी ने आदि ग्रंथ को" दसम पादशाह का ग्रंथ " के  नाम से संकलित करवाया। 

गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी ने सिखों को सैनिक संप्रदाय "खालसा" में परिवर्तित कर दिया। सिखों के लिए "पंच ककार "  केश, कच्छा,कडा, कंघा व कृपाण  को अनिवार्य कर दिया। 

उन्होंने पाहुल नाम का एक त्यौहार चलाया। गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी ने सिंह जी ने पहाड़ी प्रदेश हिमाचल प्रदेश स्थान की स्थापना की जिसका पुराना नाम पाओन्टा था। 

वहीं पर सैनिकों को प्रशिक्षण देकर उन्हें लड़ाकू सैनिक बनाया। गोविंद सिंह जी ने कृष्ण अवतार नामक ग्रंथ की रचना वहीं पर किया था। आप की आत्मकथा का  नाम विचित्र नाटक है। गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी ने सिंह जी ने सिखों की सैनिक शक्ति की सुदृढ़ता हेतु लौहगढ़, फतेहगढ़ ,आनंदगढ़ और केशगढ़ के किले का  निर्माण कराया । 

80,000 सैनिकों की खालसा सेना को तैयार किया। गोविंद सिंह जी का मुगलों के साथ तनावपूर्ण संबंध था। 1708 ई० में नांदेड़ महाराष्ट्र नामक स्थान पर अजीम खान ने इनकी हत्या धोखे से कर दी। 

गुरु गोविंद सिंह सिंह जी हिंदी ,संस्कृत, फारसी के  विद्वान थे। सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी ने सिखों को "सिंह "और महिला सिखों को "कौर"नामक टाइटल धारण करने को कहा। इस संबंध में उनका विचार था कि मैं चारों वर्णों को सिंह बना दूंगा और मुगलों को भारत से मिटा दूंगा। 

गुरु गोविंद सिंह सिंह जी के नेतृत्व में सिक्ख संप्रदाय भारत में एक राजनीतिक ताकत के रूप में उभरे। औरंगजेब की मृत्यु के बाद गुरु गोविंद सिंह जी  ने उनके पुत्र बहादुर शाह का साथ दिया। बहादुर शाह  ने गुरु गोविंद  सिंह जी को 5000 जात तथा 5000 सवार का मनसब प्रदान किया। उनकी मृत्यु के बाद गुरु की परंपरा सिख धर्म में समाप्त हो गई।

Guru Govind Singh (1675–1708 AD)

  Singh Singh Ji was born in Patna, Bihar. He was the tenth and last Guru of the Sikhs. After you, Guru Granth Sahib was considered a Guru. He founded "Dal Khalsa" in 1699 AD to translate his ideas into practice. 

Guru Gobind Singh Ji compiled the Adi Granth under the name of "Dasam Padshah's Granth". Guru Govind Singh Ji converted the Sikhs into the military sect "Khalsa". For the Sikhs, "panch kakar" made hairstyle, briefs, kadas, comb and saber mandatory.

 He ran a festival named Pahul. Guru Gobind Singh Ji established the hill state of Himachal Pradesh, whose old name was Paonta. At the same time, training the soldiers made them combat soldiers.

 Govind Singh Ji composed a book titled Krishna Avatar. The autobiography of Aap is a bizarre drama. Guru Gobind Singh Ji built fortresses of Lohgarh, Fatehgarh, Anandgarh and Keshgarh to strengthen the military strength of the Sikhs. 

Prepared a Khalsa army of 80,000 soldiers. Govind Singh ji had a strained relationship with the Mughals. In 1708 AD, Azim Khan killed him by deceit at a place called Nanded Maharashtra. Guru Govind Singh Singh was a scholar of Hindi, Sanskrit, Persian.

 Most importantly, Guru Gobind Singh Ji asked Sikhs to wear the title "Singh" and women Sikhs as "Kaur". In this regard, he was of the view that I will make the four varnas lions and eliminate the Mughals from India.

 The Sikh sect emerged as a political force in India under the leadership of Guru Gobind Singh Singh. After the death of Aurangzeb, Guru Govind Singh ji supported his son Bahadur Shah. Bahadur Shah gave the mansab of 5000 jat and 5000 rider to Guru Govind Singh ji. After his death the Guru's tradition ended in Sikhism.
